Germany decided to increase the yearly annuity payments for patents from July this year.

In Germany, you can pay your annuities 12 months ahead. So, for bigger portfolios with many

German patents, there might be a financial incentive to pay the annuities due until 30 June 2023 in

advance already in June of this year.
